Whenever a file is deleted , it moves into recycle bin.But not from the hard disk.So to remove any file from hard disk directly without moving it to Recycle Bin just follow these steps:
>>Go to Start>Run , type gpedit.msc to open group policy editor
>>In group policy editor , expand User Configuration>Administrative Templates>Windows Components and select Windows Explorer


>>On right window pane you can see Setting : Do not move deleted files to recycle bin
>>Double Click it and select Enabled and click Ok
>>That's it now you can delete files in your hard disk without moving it in Recycle Bin


Alternate:You can also delete files from hard disk without placing it in hard disk by selecting file and pressing Shift + Delete keys at a time

Now you can change windows default program files directory (which is usually C:\Program Files)  using registry editor by just following these steps:
>>Go to Start>Run , type regedit to open registry editor
>> Now navigate to the following path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
>>Select the CurrentVersion folder in the registry
Click to zoom
>>In the right window pane you will see a string named ProgramFilesDir
>>Double Click that string change its value data directory to your own directory
>>For eg: If by default the string value is C:\Program Files then you can change is to D:\Program Files
>>Now when you install any program(software) the program will paste its installation files and other data in D:\Program Files directory not in C:\Program Files directory

*This trick can be useful when your default(C:\) drive has less free space

Now you can keep your Broadband connection ON even if you log off from your PC by just following these steps:

>>Go to Start>Run , type regedit to open registry editor
>>In registry editor navigate to the following directory:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
broadband
Click on the image to zoom
>>Select winlogon and under it create a new string value named KeepRasConnections
>>Double click it and change its value data to 1

*Thats it now you logoff your PC and login again to see broadband connection still ON

Delete temp folder upon exit

Now you can automatically delete your temporary folder upon exit by just following these steps:
Group Policy Editor
>>Go to Start>Run , type gpedit.msc to open Group Policy editor
>>Expand Computer Configuration>Administrative Templates>Windows Components>Terminal Services>Temporary Folders
>>In right window pane select Do not delete temp folder upon exit
>>Double click and disable it to automatically remove your temporary folder on every exit from your PC.

Shutdown your PC Faster(New)

Here is registry trick to make your PC Shutdown faster :
>>Go to Start>Run , type regedit to open registry editor
>>Now navigate to this directory , HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control 
Shutdown PC Faster
>>Select control folder
>>Now you will see WaitToKillServiceTimeout string present on the right pane
>>Right click on it , and select modify or double click it to modify
>>Now change its value data to 100

Fastest Shutdown Trick:
Dont use this always.Use it only when there is emergency
*You can also shutdown PC Faster by Pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del to open task manager and Select Shutdown .Now press and hold Ctrl and click TurnOFF  to shutdown your PC

Change your Homepage in any browser

There are some software's and websites which automatically modify your homepages in browsers using registry or some scripts.You can stop this by following this process.

>>Taking firefox as an example
>>Right click on Mozilla Firefox icon(shortcut) on your desktop and select properties
>>At target box you will see the directory "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" where orginal firefox is present
>>Now by joining url of the site which you want to make homepage to the above directory you can set the homepage for firefox which cannot be changed from any software or website like this:
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" www.google.com

Default Desktop Wallpapers
When you right click on desktop and select properties.Now you will see Display Properties.Click on Desktop tab , there you can see list of default wallpapers to be displayed on desktop.You can add or edit wallpapers to this list by just following these simple steps:
>>Go to this folder:(defaultdrive)C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper
>>In this folder you can see the list of default wallpapers that are displayed in Desktop tab of Display Properties

>>Right Click on Desktop >Select New>Folder to create a new folder
>>Rename that folder into ControlPanel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} 
>>Now you can open control panel from desktop

Enable ClearType font for Desktop

ClearType font produces improved font display resolution and readability in LCD monitors,also in laptops and other flat desktops.To use or enable cleartype font for your desktop, just follow these steps:

>>Go to Start>Run>Type regedit to open registry editor
>>Navigate to the following key:
HKEY_USERS/.DEFAULT/ControlPanel/Desktop
>>Right click on right window pane create a new string value and name it FontSmoothing and set its value to 2(only if string is unavailable).
>>Right click again and create a new DWORD value named FontSmoothingType and set its value to 2 by selecting decimal button.(only if DWORD is unavailable)
>>Exit registry and reboot your PC to see ClearType font for all users on the PC

Modify your send to option

Now you can customize your send to menu of right click by just following these steps:
>>Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<login name>\SendTo where login name is the username with which you login your PC
>>Sometimes SendTo folder is hidden .To view hidden folder Go to any folder >Tools>Folder options>View tab>Click on Show hidden files and folders option>Click OK.Now you can view hidden files and folders in your PC.
>>Now in SendTo folder you can see some shortcuts.Those shortcuts are all that can be seen in send to context menu
>>To remove an item from send to menu delete any shortcut file in that folder
>>To add any item in the sendto context menu >Add a shortcut file or just right click in that folder and select>new>Shortcut to create a shortcut >Browse and select any folder in which you send most of your files
>>When you created a shortcut in the SendTo folder you can see that in "Send To" context menu
